Html Greek Alphabet

This is not a link, since the Html code for the Greek alphabet can be explained easily. One need know only the names of the letters, which are: alpha, beta, gamma, delta, epsilon, zeta, eta, theta, iota, kappa, lambda, mu, nu, xi, omicron, pi, rho, sigma, tau, upsilon, phi, chi, psi, omega.

The code consists of ampersand (&) followed, without a space, by the name of the Greek letter, capitalized for a capital, as 'Alpha', and in lower-case, as 'alpha', for a lower-case Greek letter. The name of the letter is followed, without a space, by a semi-colon (;). Greek also responds to italics.

Α Β Γ Δ Ε Ζ Η Θ Ι Κ Λ Μ Ν Χ Ο Π Ρ Σ Τ Υ Φ Ξ Ψ Ω

Α Β Γ Δ Ε Ζ Η Θ Ι Κ Λ Μ Ν Χ Ο Π Ρ Σ Τ Υ Φ Ξ Ψ Ω

α β γ δ ε ζ η θ ι κ λ μ ν ξ ο π ρ σ τ υ φ χ ψ ω

For final lower-case sigma, use ς

σοφος
