When I owned my own house, I grew roses and other flowers, but I was never an expert at this sort of thing. There are so many species and varieties that one would have to spend a lifetime to be able to make reliable identifications. I do know the botanical classification of most of the important flowers, even if I don't recognize them when I see them! Anyway, my favorite flowers are calla lilies, roses, tulips and irises. I don't suppose that that makes me unique. Here are a few stunning specimens of these and other beautiful flowers: |

White Calla Lilies
Cajun Sunrise Rose
Bridal Pink Hybrid Tea Rose

Crimson Tulip
Gardenia

Blue Iris

Cymbidium Orchid

Stargazer Lily

Pink and White Carnation

Crimson Gladiolus
Lavender Peony

Lupine

Sunshine Calla Lily

Bougainvillea

Flamingo Lily (Anthurium)
